Space Journey: a sci-fi themed display sans

I’m so back, baby!

After months of inactivity, it’s time to get this show started again.

You may be expecting an excuse or even an apology for my months-long hiatus, but here’s the thing: I owe nobody an explanation. Not even the Jabba The Hut-esque drug dealing Swiss coke lord from whom I stole two kilos of white powder which turned out to be caster sugar. Unfortunately, the caster sugar was meant to be used as an ingredient for the drug baron mother’s 95th birthday cake. That woman is an evil bitch, and as I learned later while extracting information from one of the hitmen sent to deal with me, she whispered “Cut him to pieces for me, Alberto” in his ear as her disgusting old lady moustache caressed her son’s cheek tenderly. Yuck.

Anyway, having dealt with the syndicate in an explosive John Wick-like final battle, let’s move on to today’s font review.

This font is nice. In fact, it’s more than nice. It’s pretty, pretty good. It comes in one weight and two styles: normal and rough. Normal looks clean, rough looks, well, rough.

It’s my favorite kind of typeface, too. A retro-styled display sans injected with the kind of vintage sci-fi feel I always lust after. The only negative comment I can make about this typeface is that it’s not particularly flexible. You get it for one reason only, and that’s sci-fi related designs.

Here’s the five-minute design I made to showcase it!

The typeface costs $14 and you can get it HERE!
